Questions

How do I play?

Press either round button, or tap either half of the screen, to start. Each press swings the beam one step left or right. Point it at a ship's lane as the ship reaches the rocks to guide it into the harbor. Each ship you save scores a point; three wrecks end the game.

What's the difference between Game A and Game B?

Game A starts steady and speeds up as you score. Game B is fast from the first ship. In both, a storm opens a far lane once your score is high enough. Press MODE between games to switch; each mode keeps its own high score.

How do I turn the sound off?

Tap the speaker grille between the buttons. Haptics stay on either way.

What happens when I fold or unfold my iPhone Duo?

The game keeps going. Folded, it's a one-screen handheld; open, the second screen joins the game, with the sea above and the harbor below (or side by side when you turn it). The screen flickers for a moment as it changes, like an old LCD. Turn on Reduce Motion to skip the flicker.

Can I play with the phone standing on a table?

Yes. Stand your iPhone Duo half-open and the lower screen becomes two big buttons and the score, with the game on the upper screen.

Does it work on other iPhones and on iPad?

Yes, as the classic one-screen game, in portrait or landscape.

The game paused. How do I continue?

Lighthouse pauses when you leave the app. Press either button to carry on.

Can I play with VoiceOver?

Yes. VoiceOver reads out each ship's lane and how close it is. Swipe up or down on the screen to swing the beam.

Does Lighthouse collect data?

No. It never connects to the internet and collects nothing. See the privacy policy.
